In the Spring of 2003, Conair asked ABID to design a portable sound system for the Hummer brand which they had licensed from General Motors. Introduced on Father's Day, 2004, the Hummer MusixStation has become the flagship product in a complete line of Hummer branded audio products from Conair. The new design embodies all of the brand attributes of Hummer, particularly strength, durability and performance.

The Hummer MusixStation design features a large chrome grill with flanking speakers under steel mesh. The aluminum handle on top has the appearance of a reinforced roof-rack, and folds down when not in use. The entire product is water resistant, and features a waterproof rubberized lower housing which protects the unit from wet surfaces and puddles. A flip up control panel display allows the unit to be used at a distance with the remote control key fob. There is also a special MP3 player storage bin behind the display with an audio port.
